1995-1999 BMW E36 M3 1000 hp DRIVE SHAFT

1 piece 1000hp capable driveshaft conversion for the BMW E36. The shaft is 606-T6 aluminum with 7075-T6 plats to convert the ends. This shaft weighs 17lbs with center support bearing removed, giving a smoother power transfer. Unlike other aftermarket shafts for BMW's, this has a slider system that will let the shaft move in and out during racing and chassis flexing.

Uses 36 spline bars (stock are 28) made from 300M. Custom cage and race set with smaller openings on the windows. Smaller openings allow  torque rating to climb 55% above the stock CV's. This along with the chromoly material makes the axle practically indestructible.

 

Requires your original halfshafts to be sent off to get rebuilt.  7-10 day turnaround

Ultra High Performance Twin Disc Street or Race Systems. 50% lighter than OEM... Clutch Masters Twin Disc systems are pure racing technology that also work well in high performance street applications. They are designed to hold tremendous horsepower and torque ratings, while retaining a very smooth operation. By using a smaller diameter clutch assembly, CM Twin Disc systems have a reduced rotational mass, meaning quicker and smoother shifting and much better throttle response. By slightly increasing the clamping force of the pressure plate and adding to the square inches of usable disc area, CM Twin Discs significantly increase clamping values. The cover assembly is machined from billet aluminum with 25% more tensile strength than the competition’s cast unit. They are available in three specific pressure ratings as well as several types of friction surfaces. The flywheel is machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminum to meet SFI spec 1.2 for competition in NHRA, NDRA, IDRC, IHRA, SCCA and NASA. Each flywheel includes a replaceable heat shield.
